Meaningful Coaching for Midlife Women.
Are you ready to meet who you are becoming?
Midlife often asks for a different kind of attention. This is a steady, reflective space to explore what’s changing and what wants to emerge.
How I Work: Jungian Midlife Coaching for Women
Midlife is not a problem to fix. It is a threshold.
My work is grounded in Jungian psychology, depth coaching, and an integrated mind–body–spirit approach. In midlife and perimenopause, what feels disruptive on the surface often signals a deeper psychological shift. We don’t only talk about circumstances — we explore what they symbolise and how they want to move through your body and life.
In practice, this looks like:
• Exploring recurring patterns and projections
• Working with shadow, archetypes, and inner parts
• Using guided visualisation and active imagination
• Listening to the nervous system
• Noticing where you feel contracted — and where you feel alive
I don’t give advice. I help you hear your inner voice more clearly, so decisions feel grounded rather than reactive.
This is deliberate work. Together we build the foundations for sustainable change — strengthening internal authority and self-trust over time. We track clear markers along the way, noticing subtle but meaningful shifts in how you respond, relate, and choose. The change is steady, embodied, and lasting.
The Psychological Foundation
Together, we explore recurring patterns, projections, shadow aspects, and archetypal themes that often intensify during perimenopause and midlife. We question inherited beliefs, internalised expectations, and values that may no longer fit.
Rather than trying to “stay positive,” we work with what is real. Including anger, grief, longing, desire, and the parts of you that feel inconvenient.
This is individuation work — becoming more fully yourself.
Working With the Unconscious
When useful, we may use:
• Shadow exploration
• Active imagination
• Dream reflection
• Inner dialogue and parts-based inquiry
• Archetypal and feminine development work
These approaches help surface what is already alive beneath the surface, so you can relate to it consciously rather than being driven by it.
Everything is collaborative. Nothing is imposed.
The Mind–Body–Spirit Integration
Midlife transitions are not purely mental. Hormones shift. Energy changes. Identity loosens.
We bring awareness to:
• The body’s signals
• Emotional regulation and nervous system responses
• Spiritual or existential questions emerging now
• Creativity, intuition, and instinct
Somatic awareness helps shift insight into embodied change.
You are not broken. You are reorganising.
Tools & Frameworks I Use in Midlife Coaching
Alongside depth conversation, I draw on specific psychological, somatic, and reflective frameworks to support women navigating midlife and perimenopause.
These include:
• Jungian depth psychology and archetypal work
• Shadow integration and parts work
• Active imagination and guided visualisation
• Somatic awareness and nervous system regulation
• Reflective goal-setting that we design together
• Tracking clear markers of change within the goals that matter most to you
We co-create goals that feel meaningful to you, not imposed from outside. These markers help you see the steady shifts as they unfold — often quietly at first, but tangibly.
Between sessions, we agree on personalised practices or reflections aligned with those goals. These are designed together in the session and help you stay accountable to yourself while keeping momentum between conversations.
If you’re wondering whether this approach is right for you, a Clarity Call gives us space to explore your current situation and see whether working together feels aligned.
How the Work Is Held
You are always in control of the direction and depth of the work.
We co-create the focus of each session. You decide what feels ready to be explored.
Sessions are 60 minutes long, held every 2 weeks. After each call, you receive a written summary and a transcript so you can revisit your own language and insights.
Between sessions, you have structured WhatsApp support to integrate what is unfolding in real time.
This creates continuity. The work continues gently between sessions.
What This Coaching Is Not
This is not therapy or medical menopause treatment.
It is not crisis support or emergency intervention.
It is not performance coaching designed to optimise productivity.
If you are looking for quick strategies or someone to tell you what to do, this may not be the right space.
This is depth-oriented midlife coaching for women who want clarity, self-trust, and a more authentic way of leading their lives.
What Working Together Looks Like
Every coaching journey is different. But there is usually a clear arc.

Clarifying What You Truly Want
In the first session, we define what you want from this phase of coaching. External shifts may matter — work, relationships, decisions — but we also explore the internal changes beneath them.
Self-trust. Boundaries. Identity. Belonging.

Working Beneath the Surface
We explore emotional triggers, unconscious patterns, inherited expectations, and shadow aspects that shape how you respond — so you can act from your own values rather than old conditioning.
Insight is important. Embodiment is essential.

Integration and Movement
Progress is tracked through your lived experience:
– Do decisions feel clearer?
– Are reactions less intense?
– Is your body more regulated?
– Do you feel more connected to yourself?
Success in this work looks like internal steadiness. Not perfection. But grounded self-leadership.
One woman's journey: Reclaiming Identity in Midlife
Laura Lewis
Marketing Director & Mother
Before Coaching
When Laura began coaching, she felt overwhelmed by competing roles: wife, mother, professional, and someone managing chronic illness.
She described herself as exhausted, burnt out, and unsure where she fit in her own life.
Her words:
“I didn’t know where I fit into this new life.”
“I was constantly overwhelmed by guilt.”
“I needed help rediscovering my inner voice.”
Low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, and staying quiet to keep the peace were shaping her daily experience.
During the Work
Together, we explored inherited beliefs about worth and responsibility.
We worked with guilt and shame directly rather than avoiding them.
Through reflective questioning and guided visualisation, Laura began recognising when she was acting from obligation rather than choice.
She started experimenting with small but meaningful shifts.
Practical Changes
– Asked family members to share household responsibilities
– Hired external support instead of carrying everything alone
– Took time for herself during holidays
– Advocated for her needs in medical settings
– Addressed professional self-doubt directly
These were not dramatic gestures. They were grounded decisions rooted in growing self-trust.
After Several Months
Laura reported:
– Increased confidence and self-belief
– Clearer boundaries
– Greater presence in relationships
– Stronger professional identity
– A deeper connection to her inner voice
“The work helped me trust myself in a way I hadn’t before.”

How we work together in practice
Working with me is both steady and spacious.
There is structure, and there is room to breathe.

Regular 60-minute sessions
We meet every two weeks online. This rhythm allows depth without overwhelm — enough time to explore what’s unfolding, and enough space between sessions to integrate.

Support Between Sessions
After each session, you receive a written summary and full transcript so you can revisit what mattered and notice your patterns over time. Plus, we have a midpoint check-in between sessions via WhatsApp.

Working Together Over Time
This work creates tangible shifts from the very beginning. Many women choose to continue for 6–12 months to deepen and stabilise the change, while others start with a shorter commitment and build from there.
This coaching is for you if...
– You don’t quite feel like yourself anymore
– You feel capable, but something underneath feels unsettled
– You carry a quiet exhaustion from holding everything together
– You want clarity without being told what to do
– You’re ready to explore what midlife is asking of you
And if you’re ready to feel…
– internally free
– more at ease with yourself
– less divided inside
– clearer about what you want
– able to build a life that feels like yours
Frequently Asked Questions
If you’re not sure yet, that’s okay. These questions often come up.
I’m not sure what I need right now. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Many women arrive here feeling uncertain or in between stages. You don’t need clarity before starting. We can talk things through together and find the form of support that feels most appropriate for where you are right now.
Do I need to be in crisis, burnout, or menopause to work with you?
No. Some women come during a clear transition, others when something just doesn’t feel right anymore. This work is as much about listening to early signals and inner shifts as it is about navigating more obvious changes.
What if I feel overwhelmed or don’t have much capacity right now?
That’s often a sign that support could be helpful. The work is designed to meet you where you are, without adding pressure or expectation. We move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of your capacity.
Is this more practical coaching, emotional support, or something else?
It’s a blend. We work with practical questions and real-life decisions, while also making space for the emotional and psychological layers underneath. The aim is insight that you can actually live from, not just talk about.
Do you offer payment plans or flexible options?
Payment plans are available.
Plus, a small number of reduced-fee spaces are offered each year for women experiencing financial transition.
