Imagine if menopause were honoured. That is the intention behind The Menopause Club.

Menopause support group with informed conversation, shared experience and a grounded space where this stage of life is respected rather than dismissed.

Recent Conversations from the Menopause Club

Each month we explore a different aspect of midlife, menopause and identity. Here you’ll find a glimpse into the conversations unfolding inside the club.

Changing Weight, Shape and Identity

Six months ago my trousers fit. Now they don’t.

In this month’s Menopause Club conversation, we explored something many women experience in midlife but rarely speak about openly: the relationship between changing weight, body shape and identity.

Sometimes the hardest part of body changes in midlife isn’t the body itself. It’s the identity shift that comes with it.

Themes that emerged in the discussion included:

  • the pressure to constantly monitor food and exercise

  • the emotional impact of clothes no longer fitting the way they used to

  • the tension between caring for our health and trying to control our bodies

  • how identity can quietly become tied to appearance

If this conversation resonates with you, you’re very welcome to join a future monthly meet.

The Menopause Club

The Menopause Club is a Menopause Support Group for women in perimenopause and post-menopause who come together to share experiences, resources, and, most importantly, our stories.

We believe that menopause is not something to be hidden, fixed, or endured in silence. It is a profound transition that deserves understanding, respect, and space.

By speaking openly about what we are living through, we help to normalise menopause, challenge outdated narratives about ageing women, and contribute to better education for ourselves, for the medical community, and for generations to come.

Menopause as a rite of passage

Just as puberty marks the transition from girlhood to womanhood, menopause is an initiation from womanhood into wisdom.

This time of life often asks us to let go of conditioned ways of being, roles we have outgrown, and expectations that no longer fit. It can feel disorienting, tender, and uncertain.

The Menopause Club exists to hold women in this liminal space. Not as something that needs fixing, but as a reminder that you are developing and evolving, not disappearing.

This is a place where the wise woman is not rushed, corrected, or diminished, but given the time and space to emerge.

What you’ll find here

  • A sense of being understood, without having to explain or justify what you’re going through.

  • Less isolation and self-doubt, as shared stories help normalise this stage of life.

  • Practical, lived insight into perimenopause and menopause, grounded in real experience.

  • More confidence to speak up with doctors, loved ones, and at work.

  • A shared, bottom-up understanding of menopause, shaped by women’s voices rather than theory.

It takes a village of supportive women to move through menopause without losing yourself.

How joining works

Because this is an intimate and relational space, joining the Menopause Club begins with a short connection call.

This gives us the chance to meet, for me to explain how the club works, and for you to ask any questions you might have. It’s also a moment for you to sense whether this feels like the right space for you.

There is no obligation to join after the call. It’s simply a conversation.
